This is the time of year all hams think of attending the Hamvention in Dayton, OH. However, with the COVID-19 virus still be very much a part of life, we’re now thinking of resuming “normal” activity in 2022. From their website, the “Hamvention will be held May 20, 21 and 22, 2022 at the Greene County Fairgrounds and Expo Center.”
For those that haven’t been to “Dayton” lately, it has moved to this new venue, not all that far from Dayton. The facility is vastly improved over Hara Arena, now scheduled for demolition. The Google map photo above shows the racetrack which is host to the flea market. The large buildings to the upper left accommodate the familiar indoor displays featuring everything from Icom, to Elecraft, to the WireMan. Not to mention, the forums where great minds assemble or to get a load off your feet…
