I think there is a song something like that.
I pretty much grew up on the Dewalt ecosystem, using the NiCad batteries. And like everyone else’s experience, the batteries finally gave out. The Lithium batteries are so much better. When Art and I were constructing model railroads, I started to move to the Makita system and have been pleased with the results.
Of my Makita set, I’m really impressed with how handy the flashlights are. In fact, I’d recommend them to anyone even if you don’t have anything in the lineup. But they’re all good. I also got rid of my Festool track saw and use the Makita in its place. It uses the same track system.
Earlier this year, I got rid of most of my remaining Dewalt save for a saber saw.
