We had a few trials today but prevailed nonetheless. The counterbores drilled to accommodate the zipbolts were too far apart. So, I had to use the new Bosch router freehand to mill out more space. In the end, it came out fine. The sections could be fitting a little closer together, so maybe I’ll think of a way to do that also.
Much left to do. Applying the mineral oil compound to the countertop in the foreground will probably come tomorrow morning. Sanding with 150 then 220 first.
Then to final align the base cabs and fasten them to the wall. Not to mention hooking up the sink and stovetop, now just resting in place.
