I finished driving in the ground rod this morning with Mary’s help. That new pounder works just great! I hit a few pockets of resistance along the way but ultimately arrived at 72.5 inches of a 1/2 copper pipe into the ground. That should do the trick. The original length is 120 inches. I had cut off 17 inches during the process and was left with 30 1/2 inches above the ground. (120-17-30.5=72.5 inches). I’m calling it macaroni…
One of these days I’ll need to find my amplifier. In the meantime, if anyone wants to borrow this masher, feel free to ask!
