A good turnout for breakfast this morning with Mary, John, John, Brad, Roger, and Lynn. We sat in the back corner like we’ve done before – where our waitress had a hard time finding us. As we were getting ready to leave, no consensus was formed on where we’d sit the next time. I guess we’ll figure it out next week.
We discussed John’s show’n’tell multimeters from a Simpson to a Fluke. I see you can still buy a Triplett Analog meter for $231. A deal at twice the price! Then we moved on to John and Mary’s new LG frig including WiFi! Roger mentioned that he used to have a frig with the compressor on top. John’s uncle used to deliver ice from door to door. John M had an ice house in his backyard when he was in high school.
Of course, we never would have met had Roger not discovered John’s mistake in setting the time at 0830. Good catch, Roger. John sent out an emergency FLASH message just in time to avert certain disaster.
We had good service, and good company. If you weren’t there, see what you missed?!
Next meeting: Cawfey on Wednesday at 0900 Central. Unless another FLASH bulletin is sent out, I expect we’ll meet again at Panera Bread, 11022 Metcalf Avenue Overland Park, KS 66210 because Einsteins doesn’t have tables yet.
